Charging Ports
Factory-direct Charging Ports for repair shops, refurbishers and parts distributors, with OEM on request.
Available across the line from Galaxy Note 10 through Galaxy S23 FE. Ports are added model by model as handsets ship.
- Connector insertion force measured on a sample set
- Flex bent at the fold point to catch cracking before it ships
- Batch photos sent before dispatch
- Data transfer and microphone function checked where the flex carries them
- Mixed models consolidated into one shipment
Charging Ports — buyer notes (Galaxy Note 10 to Galaxy S23 FE)
Quality lives at the connector: even plating, a correctly aligned stiffener and a connector that seats firmly. Do not confuse the flex with a charging board: one is flexible circuit, the other a rigid PCB, and they do not interchange. Fast charge rides on the flex, so an under-spec ribbon silently caps the wattage. On Galaxy Note 10 a charging fault that is not the port is usually the ribbon or a software state, so the whole assembly is replaced together.
Charging faults are frequently misdiagnosed, because the symptoms of a worn port, a fatigued ribbon and a software state overlap almost exactly.
Specs and checks that matter
- Symptoms: A failing port often shows as slow or intermittent charging rather than a clean failure
- Plating: Gold-plated pins resist corrosion, and evenness of plating decides long-term contact quality
- Assembly: The port ships as a complete unit with its flex, so the ribbon is not sourced separately
- Fast charge: Fast charge depends on the handset and board; the assembly is built to the original pinout
Buyer questions
What should I test before I install?
Charging current under a real adapter, data transfer, microphone response and connector seating — a visual check alone will not catch every defect.
Does it come with the flex?
Yes — the port and its ribbon ship as one assembly, ready to fit.
Is it the port alone or the whole flex?
A complete flex assembly including the connector, board section and cable — and the microphone where the model has one.
Why does charging fail again a few weeks after repair?
Usually a cracked ribbon or a connector that was never seated firmly — both are avoidable with a bench test before the phone closes.
