iPhone Series 6 Clear Tempered Glass

Buying glass in bulk — what to check (iPhone Series 6 Clear Tempered Glass)

Edge-only glue is the reason for rainbow spots and lifting corners — full adhesive is the fix. Hardness is quoted on the 9H scale, but real durability comes down to the tempering process and the edge polish. Oleophobic coating wears from the centre outward, so coating durability is judged on a used sheet, not a fresh one.

Coating life is judged on a used sheet, not a shelf sample — a distinction most price-only suppliers would rather not discuss.

Specs and checks that matter

• Hardness: 9H is a claim; real durability rests on the tempering process and the edge polish
• Adhesive: Full-coverage adhesive avoids the rainbow patches and lifting that edge-only glue develops
• Finishes: Clear for the brightest image, matte for glare and prints, privacy for a narrowed viewing angle
• Thickness: 0.33 mm is the usual flush fit; a thicker sheet trades profile for impact resistance
• Coating: An oleophobic layer handles fingerprints, and its durability is judged on a used sheet

Buyer questions

Do you hold stock or make to order?

Both — core models sit in stock for 48-hour dispatch, and new cuts go into production.

Is the glass case-friendly?

Yes, it is sized to clear the lip on a fitted case, so a cover will not push the edge up.

Can I mix finishes in one order?

Yes — mix models and finishes freely; everything consolidates into one shipment.

How does the sheet handle curved edges?

The cut follows the display radius, so the edge stays flush; a generic sheet would lift along the curve.
