If the camera surround is off by a millimetre, the case returns — the cutouts are the whole quality story. The button is where cheap cases give themselves away — if it does not click, the mould tolerances are off. A hybrid combines a hard PC back with a flexible TPU bumper, giving a premium look and real shock absorption at once. The same mould covers all 18 colours, so colour mixing costs you nothing extra.

Material choice is really a decision about which customer you serve: the volume buyer wants TPU economics, the premium buyer wants a rigid PC face, and the private-label buyer wants printability.
